This is an assistive mobility device and display poster I designed in fall 2020 for my Product Design Class. It is a simple, accessible device that uses an elevated sling to diminish torque and therefore pain for people with chronic shoulder pain issues. There are some devices that serve this function, but they are thousands of dollars and look like they belong in a hospital. It was important to me to make my device accessible and aesthetically like cheerful furniture, so it brightens up user's rooms while reducing their pain.
